found at their yard during the Desborough Desire enthusiast tour is Uka, Desborough (Hamilton’s Coaches) Plaxton Expressliner bodied Volvo B10M-60 NIL 5906 which looks in a sorry state on Saturday January 13th. New to Bebb, Llantwit Fadre as H71 PWO. It spent time at Snowdon’s Coaches, Durham and Patel, Leicester.
Unfortunately this bus caught fire and the repair costs were deemed too expensive. It was repainted in this green version of “Refreshed” livery because our batch of B7RLEs are modified and fitted with exhaust particulate traps. It was repainted in this livery in 2015, caught fire in 2016 and has been standing here in Colchester depot since. It is now used as a panel store.
I spotted this pair in the old Shoreham Cement works in West Sussex a couple of years back. The RT has the bonnet number 4442 but there was no way to identify the RM.

New to Capital Citybus as 144 for use at Dagenham. CC were bought out by First, and in 2001 this bus was transferred to Leeds. It lasted until 2009 when it was sold for scrap.
